On Friday, 24th April 2015 the WALLPAPER initiative has been launched.
WALLPAPER is a platform/initiative that aims at establishing an open and shared platform for knowledge exchange on the impacts of the wall separating Israel from Palestine. Its main focus is on the directly affected communities in the wall’s route.
The purpose is to carry out research and to establish a monitoring mechanism to better understand the impacts of the wall on communities in its vicinity.
The Laboratory of International Cooperation is hosting a web-based platform dedicated to the WALLPAPER initiative, and intends to work together with the LearningAlliance NGO for the collection of suitable materials (documentation, research and monitoring), and to bring additional qualified partners to the project in the future
The partenership for WALLPAPER started on the occasion of Stefan Ziegler’s lecture at the course of Urban Sociology on june 2014. [clip]
