The International Workshop will be held in Johannesburg, South Africa, from the 12th to the 26th of September.
The two-weeks workshop will include two days of lectures at Wits University and two guided visits to Johannesburg. (1day City Center and Apartheid Museum; 1day Soweto)
The participant Fee is 15,000.00 ZAR (1060 EUR) and it will include two meals per day, accommodation and transport during the workshop.
Flight and transport from airport to hotel are not included in the fee.
CANDIDATES WHOSE APPLICATION HAS BEEN ACCEPTED MUST SUBMIT THE REGISTRATION FORM COMPLETELY FILLED OUT TOGETHER WITH THE REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS BY 28 JULY 2015.
Open to applicants from all over the world with an internationally recognized Bachelor degree (or equivalent) in architecture, landscape architecture, regional planning, civil engineering, urban planning and sociology or master and PhD students in the same disciplines.
Applications from young professionals with Bachelor degrees in geography, sociology,environmental management, and similar with relevant professional experiencewill be accepted upon proof of relevant professional experience in fields related to architecture, urban and development planning or infrastructure design.
We strongly encourage applications from young professionals working in public institutions, private sector, civil society initiatives or NGOs all over the world who are interested in trans and multi disciplinary approaches to sustainable urban development and social empowerment.
In order to apply for admission to the Workshop it is requested to submit a CV and a Motivation Letter together with a copy of the degree.

Workshop particpants succesfully concluding the workshop will be granted a Participation Certificate worth 4 CFU (recognized by Politecnico di Milano, IUAV Universita’ di Venezia and Stuttgart University).
The Politecnico di Milano is offering 3 scholarships for the coverage of the 50% of the participation fees.
Scholarships will be assigned by the selection commettee based on criteria as the quality of the CVs and the motivations for participating of the applicants.
